How to scan opened ports
Open Network tools for an immediate connectivity check. These tools help investigate an incident; use a scheduled monitoring check when you need continuing results and notifications.
Port scanner
In Port scanner, enter the target server and click Run. Review the returned ports. Scan only hosts that you administer or have permission to test.
Check a connection or DNS response
Use Check port to choose the source server, target and TCP port. For DNS, select the source, record type and domain. Compare results from the network where the problem occurs.
A successful port connection does not validate the application's response. For ongoing monitoring, create a TCP, DNS or HTTP check and assign notifications.
